Wideband Power Amplifiers That Excels in Low Impedance Applications
At Amp-Line, our standard 50 to 1400 watts wideband power amplifiers (HF-A series), without an output transformer, delivers 0–28 V rms. of adjustable output voltage and up to 50 A rms. of output current, making it ideal for low-impedance loads. Many high-frequency power amplifiers on the market may offer output voltages of 140 V rms. or higher, but their output current is much lower than ours. In contrast, our wideband power amplifiers naturally provide higher current capability, making it better suited for low-impedance load applications, since lower impedance requires higher current. With an external output transformer, the output voltage can be increased to any level specified by the customer (up to 10 kV rms. max). Our wideband power amplifiers also cover a wide frequency range from 5 Hz to 600K Hz, spanning infrasonic, audio, ultrasonic, and radio frequencies.
