The BS-02F Series Dual-Channel Battery Simulator

Description

The BS-02F series dual-channel battery and battery charger simulator are programmable and can satisfy R&D, testing of fast-charging batteries, and battery pack simulations for smartphones, tablets, and other battery-powered tools. The simulators can act as a stand-alone programmable DC power supply and/or electronic load for test stations, experiment laboratories, and research organizations.The channels in the simulator are fixed. They have ultra-fast transient response time, and with a unique variable output resistance technology, its input and output characteristics can fully mimic the real responses of the battery. It can also monitor the power consumption of the device under test (DUT) by measuring the DC current. The digital voltmeter (DVM) function eliminates the cost and space required for a separate voltage measurement instrument.

Main Features

HD color touchscreen operation:
The simulators in the BS-02F series are desgined with a high-performance color touchscreen display, and the main screen displays dual channels.

Multiple working modes and comprehensive protection
The equipment has constant voltage (CV), constant current (CC), and battery operation modes, with over voltage protection (OVP), over current protection (OCP), and over temperature protection (OTP) functions.

Battery simulation characteristics
Real battery simulation, with features such as automatic switching between charging and discharging states and internal impedance simulations. It is suitable for charging and discharging tests on various types of portable batteries. It can also assist in other tests. One equipment can fulfill multiple purposes, reducing the needs for extra test equipment and optimizing the test process.

Accurate testing of idle currents and leakage currents

Its current read back has a maximum resolution of 100nA, and a minimum current accuracy of 0.1%, providing the accuracy needed to monitor the sleep mode current in today's and future battery-powered products.

Digital Voltmeter (DVM) function
The simulator provides Digital Voltmeter (DVM) functionality, eliminating the expense and space required for a separate voltage measurement unit.

Supports various communication interfaces
The standard model comes with GPIB and RS232 communication ports, and supports customized LAN, RS485, and other communication interfaces.
